I’m still not exactly sure where I came across Walker & Williams’ straps during my extensive Googling, but as soon as I did I knew these were the straps for me! Stunning aesthetics, great color/pattern selections and the quality is second to none. And talk about a great value–the price point was perfect for me! I have seen some fat cats spend up to three times the price on leather straps that weren’t near as nice as these. No frayed threads to be found anywhere along the stitching, the leather is supple but sturdy, and the detailed, ornate leather carvings are so good you’d think they were done by hand.
The GB-191 came up just a notch longer than I would’ve liked for my Washburn N4 sig, but luckily for me, W&W have an illustration on their site that showed me a new trick for making their straps even shorter if need be. Now the fit is perfect!
I’m amazed that these straps aren’t being carried by every major retailer, as the quality-for-the-price factor cannot be beat: Not by Levy’s, Perri’s or any of the other major players in the leather guitar strap biz!
